Bauhaus Automatic 2162-3 – Sophisticated and distinctive

The new brand Bauhaus celebrates the integration of the Bauhaus building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla and the watch assembly housed therein into the family-run watch company POINTtec. The building, in which the watch brands ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE have been produced for decades, was built in 1929 according to designs by the famous Jena architectural firm Schreiter & Schlag in the Bauhaus style. Bauhaus watches, made in the company’s own Bauhaus building!

The automatic models Ref. 2162-3 feature a special characteristic with the large day display at 12 o’clock, which fits perfectly into the minimalist design of the series. The blue sunburst dial, the two-tone hands, the rounded case and glass give this watch an impression of quality and elegance, making it the perfect finishing touch for any look. Polished stainless steel, extra scratch-resistant K1 safety glass, and a movement from the Japanese traditional manufacturer Citizen/MIYOTA, which can be viewed through the glass back, fulfill the promise of highest quality.

The watch strap is an intricately handcrafted Italian leather band with a “Bauhaus” embossing and a length of 20 cm.
