The equation of yellow triangle, red square, and blue circle inspired numerous projects at the Bauhaus in the early 1920’s and has been a basis to modernist design education since the 1940’s. Using the colours yellow blue and red in the stitching, and the loop and the back of the strap and on the dial pays tribute to perhaps one of the most fundamental, iconic and best known aesthetic bookmarks of the Bahaus.
