The Humphrey heart from the Alps – lovingly called Alpenherz – was designed by Norbert Muerrle. It is cool, sexy, attractive, desirable, and chic.

Matte on the diamond side and glossy on the opposite side.

The diamonds are set using a classic setting technique, further developed by Humphrey for stainless steel. A “bed” is milled into the piece of jewelry for the diamond. Then the diamond is precisely measured (calibrated). This diamond is then placed into the setting bed and a little material is laid over the edge of the stone. In the picture, you can see a small ring around the diamond. The diamond now sits securely in the piece of jewelry.

The ear hooks were also developed with our in-house designer Norbert Muerrle. These hooks can be worn optionally with or without ear pendants and are very light. The end is an 18-carat gold ball, which is hollow inside for weight reasons. The hooks have a left and a right side. Ideally, the ball points away from the ear.

Humphrey offers a 2-year warranty on the piece of jewelry with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still worn.

Diamonds:

Important for diamonds are the 4 C’s. Diamonds are evaluated at 10x magnification:

– Carat (weight): In this piece of jewelry, the diamonds each weigh 0.03 ct. (2 mm diameter)

– Color (Farbe): The diamonds used by Humphrey have the color F or Top Wesselton

– Clarity (Purity): Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions, which are barely visible to the naked eye.

– Cut (Schliff): Is the most important C for us. This determines whether the diamond sparkles even in normal light or looks dull. Often manufacturers cut costs here. Humphrey only uses brilliant-cut diamonds that are excellently cut.

Humphrey makes sure to buy diamonds only from suppliers who comply with the “United Nations Resolutions.” Therefore, we can guarantee that our diamonds are not affected by any conflicts.
