Bauhaus Quartz 2130-1 – Sophisticated and distinctive
The new brand Bauhaus celebrates the integration of the Bauhaus building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla and the watch assembly housed therein into the family-run watch company POINTtec. The building, in which the watch brands ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE have been produced for decades, was built in 1929 according to designs by the famous Jena architectural firm Schreiter & Schlag in the Bauhaus style. Bauhaus watches, made in the company’s own Bauhaus building!
The model Ref. 2130-1 “Small Seconds” exudes minimalist elegance and shines upon closer inspection through numerous details such as the slightly beige dial with curvature, the two-tone hands, and the slender lugs on the particularly flat and smooth case made of polished stainless steel. The highest quality standards are also met by the Swiss quartz movement Ronda 6004.D as well as the finely rounded, specially hardened K1 safety glass.
The watch strap is an intricately handcrafted Italian leather band in dark brown, with “Bauhaus” embossing and a length of 20 cm.
